I am honoured to be featured in the December issue of Photo Professional Magazine, in an article entitled ‘The Future is Film’. The black and white images here are all from my archives. I love seeing my work in print and it was interesting talking about my passion for film and why I do what I do. I shot my first roll of film 30 years ago (Ha! Yes that long!) and had my first film photograph published 18 years ago. Film has always been my passion and what I absolutely love. It makes me smile inside and helps my convey how I see the world in a beautiful way. Even when the world and his dog switched to digital, there was still a place in my heart for film, and I continued to offer it to my wedding clients. With thanks to all my lovely clients over the past few years who have booked me for my vision….and who have enabled me to continue to use the medium of film to tell their stories………
So this week’s toast goes to film…..long may you live and prosper!
{And I have to raise another glass this week to toast my lovely husband’s birthday….. so make that two…;-). Happy Birthday Hubs! Being a newly wed (this year counts right?) I am still taken with the novelty of calling him my Husband)
