Sabrina & Andrew’s beautiful English wedding took place in the picture postcard village of Castle Combe in the Cotswolds, at The Manor House Hotel.
As a Swiss-English couple Andrew & Sabrina decided to have a destination wedding in the Cotswolds; and to show their Swiss friends and relatives a beautiful slice of the English countryside, and English village at it’s most pretty. The ceremony was held in the village church (with a very accommodating vicar: thank you Jonathan!), just a short walk away from the reception venue. Brief showers didn’t dampen the festivities and in true British style we had glorious soft sunshine at the end of the day, which I made the most of for the couple’s portraits. You might remember the beautiful London light we had for their Pre-Wedding Shoot too.
Sabrina is super-organised (apparently it’s the Swiss genes!) & everything ran according to plan. I love how she looks so radiant and happy! She was treated to a very special best man’s speech version of Dragons Den and if you look closely you can see the giant gold bars she had to spend on investing in her new groom. Their son Tom added fun and mischief to the day and I just love his baby converse!
It’s been great getting to know you both and spending time with you; I know a happy and exciting future is ahead of you…much love xxx

hi an dcongratulations on your wedding. hope you had a wonderful time. can’t wait to see photos 🙂
I have followed your blog for quite some time, but for some reason today I felt the need to comment. Been looking back over the posts and I have to say your b/w reception and party photos are some of the best I’ve ever seen and I stalk quite a few photographer blogs, mostly film shooters. the contrast, light and grain is so beautiful and then adding the great expresions and emotion you capture.
I am a huge fan of Elizabeth Messina and Jose Villa, but must admit that where their photos although stunning work always looks a little bit the same despite being from different events, yours are always just a little bit different adding unique touch to each couples celebration. glorious. you make me want to shoot more film 🙂
