Jonathan and Yiljan met when they worked at the Disney store together when they were just seventeen. They decided to marry after many years of love together in a civil ceremony at the beautiful Eltham Palace. They took on board my advice to schedule the ceremony with some daylight so we could create the best possible record of their day, with a mix of beautiful colour images with natural light, and the evocative film-like black and white images later in the day and evening. This was my first teste dance – a Turkish tradition: wow! It was a whirlwind of ritual and dancing. With the marriage of a creative and a producer (Yiljan previously organised GMTV’s Wedding of the Year), you would have expected the day not only to look gorgeous but also run smoothly: and it did! A big thank you to Jen at Eltham Palace and Martina who assisted me on the day. You won’t see many winter weddings on my website as I am a sunshine girl at heart, but I loved this one, it was an absolute pleasure to work for you both, and I hope my record of the day reflects some of the magic you felt.
