It’s back to summer and now things are settling down a little with just a few more weddings to go until the end of the season, so I have chance to showcase some more of the wonderful weddings I had the privilege to photograph this summer. This is Rachel and Rene’s lovely celebration held in their home town of Erlangen in Germany. Despite there being no common language between all (and indeed this was the first time Rachel’s parents had left China), they pulled off a fine example of marrying two different cultures together – German and Chinese – and a fun and relaxed wedding with some ingenious party games that successfully crossed language barriers, and brought a smile to everyone’s faces. Rachel was a composed and elegant bride and Rene looked so dashing in his black tie…and I just love the balloons and the doves!
Come back on Wednesday for the next part of Rachel and Rene’s wedding!
