We were truly blessed at Clare and Jeremy’s gorgeous summer wedding in Sandbanks, for literally an hour before they were due to marry it was torrential rain. A seriously heavy, pelting downpour of a storm. Then the clouds cleared and unbelievably the weather transformed itself as if my magic. Clare was a glowing bride, and a nervous one too – much to the surprise of Jeremy her husband to be, and the gathered congregation, as Clare reached the end of the altar she fainted….out cold! Luckily Clare’s French ‘maman’ rushed to the rescue with her smelling salts and after a minute or so (which felt like the longest minute ever!) Clare came round, and was able to stand to her feet and start the ceremonty. Mon dieu!
The rest of the lovely day proceeded I am delighted to say, without further event. Bumblebees on the bride’s veil and a fly by from the Red Arrows as we did the couple shots, plus lots of sparkly sunshine made it a magical wedding. Congratulations Mr & Mrs L! You make a lovely couple and I hope that you have many many happy years of smiling and love!
